Inspired by the first rains hitting the red earth of Karnataka, this piece captures the explosive energy of monsoon season. Bold splashes of cerulean and burnt sienna dance across the canvas, creating a symphony of color that evokes the smell of wet earth and the sound of thunderclouds gathering over the Western Ghats.

The layered texture was achieved through a combination of palette knife work and controlled pouring techniques, building up depth that reveals new details with each viewing.
